Antolini’s Recioto della Valpolicella is produced from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes. These are carefully selected and handpicked in mid-October from vines situated in the Valpolicella Classico towns of Marano di Valpolicella and Negrar but in particular from the vineyard called “Persegà Alto”. Recioto della Valpolicella has a deep red garnet colour with purple reflections, an intense, lingering bouquet, with sour cherry, cranberry notes and a hint of violet, cinnamon and white pepper. The flavour is sweet and harmonious, never cloying, blooming and extremely fruity with a hint of red jam and cinnamon. Best served after a meal with hot desserts or chocolate. Must be tried with soft cheeses.
